Understanding the Importance of Roles

We are beginning to understand the importance of assigning roles within groups in order to help the group work more efficiently.  Today we came up with appropriate group roles/responsibilities and tried them out.  Here are our group roles:

Researcher(s) - looks up information about each task and adds it to google doc...answers Ms. Daly’s questions on the google doc

Google doc organizer - keeps the google doc organized by using headings and organizing information in google slides by task

Model worker(s) - uses the information the researchers are finding to build model

The five tasks we have been given so far are:

1) Learn about your climate region

2) Learn about your vegetation region

3) Find and build shelter

4) Find a water source for drinking

5) Find food to hunt and gather
